A first for Africa
The Adaptation Finance Academy is the very first academy dedicated to climate adaptation finance. Its degree is recognised by the Togolese State. It works to scale up climate adaptation action in Africa by supporting the design and delivery of dedicated programmes, and to strengthen the capacity of African institutions to lead this work themselves and generate bankable projects — a programme delivered jointly with Sustainable Solutions for Africa (SSA).
A specialised academy
The academy turns that mission into education: it prepares learners to design, finance and appraise resilience and adaptation projects, starting from African economic realities. Two ways to enrol — Bachelor-Master-Doctorate (BMD) or Continuing education — to fit each learner’s profile.
Teaching grounded in practice
The curriculum alternates between core teaching, practical workshops and case studies. Every learner has a personal digital space: timetable, course materials, practical work and progress tracking.
