Privacy policy
Data we collect
AFA collects the data required to review applications and manage studies: identity, contact details, academic background, supporting documents and declared payment receipts. Identity documents and academic records are stored in a private area and are never made public; access to sensitive documents is logged.
Legal basis and purposes
This data is processed in order to review applications, manage the studies of enrolled students and keep the platform secure. No data is passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Cookies
The site uses only a session cookie, which is required to keep you signed in to your applicant, student, teaching or administrative account. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work and is not subject to prior consent. No analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookie is set.
Audience measurement
Site traffic is measured with a privacy-friendly analytics tool, hosted by AFA itself. It sets no cookie, creates no identifier that would allow you to be recognised from one visit to the next, and builds no individual profile: only aggregated, anonymous statistics are kept. IP addresses are never stored.
Retention period
Unsuccessful applications are kept for five years from the date of the decision, then deleted. The data of enrolled students is kept for the duration of their studies, then archived in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to educational institutions.
Security
Passwords are encrypted, sessions are protected by secure tokens, and access to sensitive documents (identity papers, transcripts, proof of payment) is systematically logged and restricted to authorised staff.
Your rights
Under the applicable regulations, you have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise those rights, contact us at contact@afa.tg.
